Latin American writers in the supplement Mais!
Keywords:
Cultural journalism, literature, Latin AmericaAbstract
The supplement Mais!, published by Folha de S.Paulo (1992-2010), appeared when universities had begun to study hybrid art, giving special attention to local and Latin American writers. The aim of this paper is to show that, despite that, those writers have short space in cultural publications. The supplement Mais! had a conservative position regarding this issue, by giving a better approach to consecrated authors. This conclusion was held in the study of 665 editions of Mais!, from 1992 to 2004.Downloads
