The experimentation in television fiction production: the Curtas Gaúchos of RBS TV

Abstract

The paper discusses the limits and possibilities of experimentation in television fiction production, from the programs shot for Curtas Gaúchos, television drama show of RBS TV Channel, station connected to Rede Globo corporation. The interviews with directors which work to the project are the main subject to think this issue from production point of view. The article is one of the research’s results: Convergências entre imagens audiovisuais: marcas narrativas, estéticas e mercadológicas no cinema gaúcho, developed by Audiovisual Process Research Group (PROAV/UFRGS).
