Abstract

This study proposes a reflexion from enunciative similarities between Alfred Hitchcock’s cinema and Alejandro González Iñárritu’s cinema. It’s known that the works of these two directors are so different in the narrative aspect, but are intertwined from highly convergent statements, which are products of a deliberate goal of Iñárritu or even a reflection of the movie memory. The article presents the concept of film as discursive unity, such as text, according to Christian Metz, in line with the concept of Mikhail Bakhtin’s dialogism.
