Abstract

By examining the clash between MPB and BRock, our intention is to realize the struggle of generation 80 for social legitimacy as well as reflect on what the new standards of taste youths 80 were evaluated. Through reprisals enrolled in their lyrics, we can see how this generation of singers and songwriters has left traces of a behavioral change that earned a review of mass culture, as well as a new way of being in the world.
