New technologies and the journalism teaching

Abstract

The 4th Meeting of Journalism Professors from the State of São Paulo, held at Faculdade Cásper Líbero, had as subject the Journalism education facing the challenge of the new technologies. Then, the Faculdade Cásper Líbero’s Journalism Week, held subsequently, has discussed the journalism practice nowadays, trying to answer if the media fulfill their role: in a series of lectures and debates, guests from different sectors of the society presenteded their views and raised questions on the press performance, showing points that the Journalism graduation should observe to form professionals who could handle well on their paths.
