Social sciences and pragmatic: dialogs on reception

Abstract

Theoretical production on communication in social sciences in a dialog with literary theory and pragmatic. This article retakes a seminal project by Gabriel Cohn when he announced, in Sociologia da Comunicação (Sociology of Communication) the convergence of this area of study with pragmatic. The importance of a communication turn in social sciences and at the same time how the social sciences contribute to identify the social conditions of producing meaning in the cultural consumption and in the necessary conditions for its symbolic effectiveness.
