Communication for sustainability, social memory and citizenship in research projects

Abstract

The risks to environmental sustainability became prominent with the worsening of the water supply crisis in Brazil in 2014. The present context can be studied in a frame with elements such as communication and citizenship, to be related to the dimension of what will be here systematized from the literature as ‘memories of engagement’, an expression which may contribute to the creation of innovative research projects. This paper and suggests research objects which could benefit from such interdisciplinary convergence.
