Abstract

In this article we investigate the appropriation of amateur records by distinct objects: TV newscast (the use of anonymous amateur videos on News broadcasting as a visual record); and fiction movies (the use of rudimentary amateur language as a realistic pretense). We also realize that, despite its growing use by the media, that appropriation does not necessarily adopt the point of view of the other.
