Educomunication and cultural mediation

Abstract

The present paper aims to discuss an experience with Educomunication, developed between 2007 and 2010, with several group of youngsters from the Community in the districy of Platforma, in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Called Project Platform, this project was sponsored by Petrobrás, and the realization was sponsered by Brazil Roerich Peace Institute. The activities developed with this community were based on interpretation and appreciation of the local culture, using audiovisual resources.
