The emptiness of Roberta Dabdab’s images

Abstract

Photography is a representative metaphor of the social and cultural changes that have been seen in our society since its beginning. These changes, also resulting from the significant transformations in the fields of communication and technologies, implicates in a renewed perspective to the photographic code, which starts to manifest itself connected with other languages such as video, painting, and many others. Therefore we consider that it is appropriate to discuss the so called pos-photography as well as the digital aspect of the photography to illustrate the changes that extend the field of action of this language and with that the perspectives of social inclusion proposed by the language.
