The visible time

Abstract

The liquid world Zygmunt Bauman preaches through his writings is but the latest distillation of space-time. A consciousness exposed to the intuition of the space-time for more than a century contemplates matter, objects, not only permeated by the flow of time, but modified so intimately by this flow that they appear to its understanding with the elasticity of the fluids, a characteristic that that has its allegorical representation in Dali’s soft watches, and in film and its derivatives its more effective aesthetics, though perhaps the less understood.
