Computational journalism according to the “Big Data Era”

Abstract

The development of connected digital devices and the evolution of mediatic system inside them, build a new informative environment. Computational machines connected to telematic networks and databases are the structure of the “Big Data Era”, allowing the production and storing of data in amazing quantities. The article focuses on the need of the journalism’s professional to act according to the informative demands of the contemporary society, extracting nontrivial information. In this new communicational context rises the need of the hacking journalism.
