Keywords:
Media Process, body, culture of listening, communication ecology, communication, capillaries, Metzontla Los ReyesAbstract
The text focuses on the relationships between sound and the culture of listening studies by Harry Pross, who has stated that all communication starts and ends in the body. It discusses Vicente Romano’s notion of Communication Ecology, especially regarding the reduction of spaces for face-to-face communication as electronic communication increases. Dialoguing with Norval Baitello’s studies about the capillaries of communication, and the radio documentary Metzontla, Los Reyes by Julio de Paula, this paper proposes the term communication ecology for the comprehension of the porosities found between bodies and communicational environments.Downloads
