Abstract

This article tries to look back on the historic moment in which the theory of mediations and the cultural studies developed and the categories that they built in order to understand the processes of sense production. It tries to deal with the convergences of orientation in research based on the works of Raymond Williams and the new generations of Cultural Studies as related to the works of Martin-Barbero, Canclini and Orozco. It is concerned with how they can contribute to researches about new environments of fruition brought by new technologies.
