“Knowing how to reflect on your thought”: joint reflections on epistemology of communication

Abstract

“Communication: knowledge, art, or science?” was the theme of a seminar organized in August 2007 by the Postgraduate Program in Communication of Faculdade Casper Líbero. The participants followed the intermediations of the three guest speakers (Luiz C. Martino from UnB, Lucrecia D’Alessio Ferrara from PUC-SP and Cremilda de Araújo Medina from USP) and debated with them important current issues raised by the epistemology of communication. This text retrieves some of the major pivots of said debate and opens the field to other considerations, including the ones of methodological nature.
