Abstract

Mídia Ninja (Narrative Independent Journalism and Action) is a Brazilian media group known for media activism, using digital social networks as an alternative approach to traditional forms of media. This study uses content analysis methodology to compare the production of Media Ninja SP over Folha de S.Paulo during the opening match of the FIFA World Cup. Both media have an ideological approach, which should be understood in an ecosystem perspective, showing that both are complementary and offer the possibility of better understanding of the complex realities.
