Discourse and social interaction: authorship’s appearance and dissolution in consumption cultures
Keywords:
Authorship, consumption, social and discursive interactionsAbstract
In this article, we examine the modes of social and discursive interaction which promote the institution of authorship in modern times, the moment of its creation and the dissolution of the author in contemporary times, when a crisis in the authorial property regimes establishes itself. Foucault´s discourse theory is our main conceptual base: he conceives discourse as a discursive practice. Literature and advertising, considered as two enunciatives domains, are examples that allow us to problematize some of the meanings of authorship in the two periods mentioned.Downloads
