An analytical protocol for the communication studies: the mediations in the critical pedagogy of the media

Abstract

Theoretical and methodological contributions of Cultural Studies, in particular the postulates Douglas Kellner (criticism of the media), Jesús Martin-Barbero (theory of mediation) and Guillermo Orozco Gómes (multiple mediations). In an attempt to systematize an approximation conceptual and aiming propose a hybrid methodology for the studies in the field of communication, through its relationship with the culture, it is unveiling the foundation of these contributions, presenting its concepts and understand their postulates, tried to demonstrate here is the result of this approach.
